Knit in double strand yarn. Three sizes for youth, women and men. Sizes: Small (Youth), Medium (Women's),
Large (Men's). The exact finished size is controlled during the
felting process. Optional:
Fiber Trends' suede mitten palms to increase grip and lengthen wear.
- Yarn Requirements: 120 (140, 180) yards (110 (128, 153) meters) each of two worsted weight wool, or 1 wool and 1 mohair, held together and worked as one. Choose yarns that will felt, such as wool, mohair or alpaca. Always test felt a sample of your yarn to be sure of the results. Mittens shown are made with a strand of worsted wt wool held with a strand of handpainted mohair/wool blend.
