Yarn: Worsted weight yarn, approximately 1010 (1100, 1190, 1280, 1380, 1480) yds.
Needles
– US Size 5 (US Size 3 for cotton), and US Size 7 and 8 single point needles, or any size needle which will give the correct stitch gauge. One US Size 5 (Size 3 for cotton) double pointed needles. Stitch holders.
Gauge: On size 8 needles, in stockinette stitch, 4 1/2 sts = 1"
